“I have been here many times. We actually drive 40 minutes just to go here. The food is always superb but the service is what brings us back. A fantastic little pub, an amazing restaurant. The cocktails are lush and none of it is overpriced. Great location too! I had the Sea Bream with Asparagus Risotto! Soooo good!”

“We had an amazing meal tonight. We were at a party of 11 celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday and I can’t fault the food or the service. My son has coeliac and more or less everything on the menu they coud do gluten free. Our young waiter was lovely. So helpful, smiley and polite. Will definitely come again.”

We were a family of 18 celebrating my sister’s 90th Birthday so it was a very special day for us. Family members had travelled from Edinburgh, Durham, Plymouth, Cirencester, Herne Bay and Halstead to be with Wendy ( from Woking) on this her very Special Day. All our conversations and organising with Amy were first class with very fast replies. Some of us arrived early so that we could decorate the table. Flowers had already been delivered and were in safe keeping by the team. My wife had baked a special 90th cake which was received when we arrived and taken care of until required after our main course. The Onslow staff were excellent, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a table in the Garden Room which was so well placed as there were 5 cousins under 10 who constantly were outside playing. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all as was the drink’s service. Given the nod the cake was brought out at the right time. Although my wife and I do not live locally we have been to the Onslow Arms several times in the past before with friends who do, so we knew it was good. This time is was better than just good it was excellent. Congratulations to all the Staff at The Onslow Arms.

We booked the private dining room for our mum’s birthday, it was large enough to accommodate all the family and friends for mums day (22 of us in total). The booking systems was really good and worked well for our folks to make their choices, and we had some restrictions food wise for a few of our guests, that was well catered for. The communication with Amy was great and nothing was too much trouble, including organising a special menu for our younger group. Amy you were really helpful thank you. On the day, we had early access to the room to set up and decorate with flowers before mum arrived and drinks were arranged too. The room was clean and tidy and easy to set up. Tom looked after us during the meal and all went to plan, he was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, always with a smile. The food was delicious and there were no complaints during or after about the meal. We were there from 11.30 to after 3.00 and at no point felt we were rushed and everything asked for was provided. We all felt that the lunch was great and good value. Mum had a wonderful time and is hoping we can repeat this very soon, hopefully with better weather so we can enjoy some time outside. We would definitely recommend. Thank you so much Onslow Arms for a wonderful day.
